We are looking for the best and brightest minds in Image and Video Engineering to join our team in Belgrade. Ideally you are an experienced and dedicated engineer with extensive experience of image and video processing, object recognition, motion tracking and knowledge of picture quality assessment and tuning. Experience of applying this to embedded platforms within a small team of highly skilled and motivated engineers to implement new innovative products.

As a member of this team, you are asked to deliver the following:

You will be responsible for designing, developing and testing product features in a fast paced Agile environment where the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications is essential.
You will also be responsible for improving the design and the functionality of existing modules with creative and timely solutions.

There is no set route to become an Image and Video Engineer at TomTom. To be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

In depth knowledge of image and video processing algorithms, picture quality analysis and tuning and standard image and video formats.
Experience of tuning image processing algorithms for object recognition.
The ability to work closely with a software development team, providing detailed specifications for real time implementation.
The ability to tailor algorithm specifications to enable them to run effectively on a small scale computing platform with limited resources.
Strong communication and relationship skills are as important as superb technical skills in this role.
