The role varies according to the size of the publication and the nature of its content, but responsibilities typically include:
- creating digital content, writing news stories and features that connect with our target group
- organizing, preparation and publication of interviews
- editing and publishing texts, photos and videos, creating a photo gallery and edit cover pages
- monitoring and publishing the latest news in agricultural and business sector
- monitoring and analysis of statistics website in order to improve performance
- overseeing the layout, appearance and content of feature articles
- generating ideas for features
- understanding and complying with media law and industry ethical guidelines
- selecting feature articles for each issue
- translation from Serbian to English (any other language is an advantage)
- networking with others at industry events
- active participation in editing of our web portal
- assisting other staff

The application is open to non-graduates, but most entrants do have degrees or related qualifications.
- bachelor’s degree in a related field
- previous experience, as a candidate with a portfolio of published work will stand a much better chance of employment
- excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal
- extensive knowledge and experience of business journalism and strong digital understanding
- excellent editorial skills, including writing and editing
- to thrive in a busy and fast paced environment with hourly, daily and monthly deadlines
- financial journalism experience is ideal but not essential
- to have an excellent understanding of the dynamics of web journalism and how to grow audiences
- an exceptional level of written and spoken English and Serbian (native speaker or equivalent); any other language is preferable
