What do we do?
We have started as an educational centre supporting development of independent and professional journalism in BiH, extending our activities over the time to include:
· publishing
· media research
· PR training and consulting
· TV and audio production
· organization of cultural events
An integral part of Mediacentar includes an archive of print media from BiH and the area of former Yugoslavia, and a library containing literature on mass media. We also publish a regional journal for culture and literature ·Sarajevo Notebooks’.
Over the past three years we have developed:
· NetNovinar - Internet portal supporting professional journalism in South-Eastern Europe.
· INFOBIRO - Digital Archive – digital database of print media from BiH, accessible and searchable on the internet.
